RAGHUNATH MAHATO: BIDROHI “THE GREAT”
This booklet has been written by Dr. Shashi Bhusan Mahato and Ratan Kumar Mahato of Ranchi. It comprises 24 pages. The movement of Saheed Ragunath Mahato has been ignored in the pages of history. Both the writers have studied a lot and given the authentic and acceptable notes of his movement. His movement has been called Rascals’ Movement (Chuhad Bidraha). It was the first organized movement in India against British rule. The Sipoy Mutiny occurred much more latter in 1857. Saheed Ragunath’s birth was on 1738 and became Saheed on 5th April 1778. So one can say he is the first freedom fighter against British Dominion. In this book one can get details of the said movement.
